great service and the fish is fried to order , oil is nice and clean , chips are good and fresh. fish wise it's definitely been frozen and defrosted from the colour and texture as it's not flakey nor bright white.
gravy and the curry is probably the best I've ever had from a fish shop.
very clean inside and some decent chairs to sit and wait and a good selection of soft drinks to accompany the food.
sausage wise they are okay but the halal beef sausages never taste quite right in my opinion.
Really enjoyed the haddock and chips, really nice fish, it tasted very fresh, I can also recommend the mushy peas and the patties and the portion size is quite large, saved some of the chips for later and had a chip buttie with them, overall I haven't had any bad food since they first opened, the staff are very friendly and the service is good.
Honestly never had a fish and chips this bad, physically couldn’t eat it and the bits that I could eat cause a horrible stomach ache. Staff was so kind so 5 stars for service. The rest was horrible.

Very please with the service last Wednesday. Phoned in my order and the price was checked to confirm the requirements. Time was agreed at 6:00pm and we arrived on time to find it was packed into the 5 different groups with the receipt stapled to each bag. This made it easy to sort who was having what when we got back. The food was very good and, most importantly, the batter did not stick to the wrapping, just like it was in the good old days when everything was wrapped in news paper, it never stuck to the paper but nowadays in most cases you lose half the batter to the paper. Fish, fish cakes, patties and chips were perfectly cooked. Next time we are up in Hull I know where I will be going for my fish and chips, Kingwood fish bar.
Excellent fish and chips, quality and taste never fail best in hull
The customer service was really great, (5+ star) the food was nice, the portions (5 star) was generous. We get a 20 pound meal and make 4 of us full. Gravy, chips, Tatar sauce, sausage was really good,(5 star) fish, patties, and peas was nice. (4 star)
