Best jolloff I’ve had in a long while.
Chicken cooked to perfection and very generous portions on offer.
You’ll do well to find a better spot for lunch in the whole of East Sussex, never mind Hove!

A gem found just at the end of George Street. Has such great food, and is very very cheap for the quality. Flavours are always on point and food is always fresh. Next time you're in Hove and need a quick bite to eat, instead of going to KFC get a King's Flavour pulled chicken wrap (spicy) and you'll not be disappointed. Support local always.
The hosts are delightful, they have 5 stars for cleanliness and the food is wonderful, fresh and incredibly good value. We tried the beef wrap and the goat curry at £4 and £6 for generous portions. Their own home-made chilli sauce is so good we bought a jar to take home. Strongly recommended.
Is my #1. African eatery in Brighton. The VEGAN menu for £6 is amazing, fried bean falafels, vegetable stew and salad, all truly African, yumm!! As this was our first time, we even got a taster and a hibiscus tea. Super nice personell, we even sang together!
I was expecting this to be nice, I had a meal called the yassa, it was rice, potatoes and chicken? Well the chicken was one piece of bone honestly. I called about 7pm and it may have been the last of the chicken. But it was small and not much meat. The rice was nicely cooked and there was a taste of mustard. The owners are friendly but my meal wasn’t very good.
King's Special dinner is the tastiest treat North of Church Road ???????? Friendly fast service, generous portions, just the right amount of spice and great flavour. Treat yourself to this and you won't regret it.
10/10 EVERY TIME. Abraham and everyone involved are wonderful. Honestly couldn't ask for nicer people. Even if you aren't buying they will welcome you with a warm smile, even just passing by. Wonderful people and wonderful food! ????
Disgusting shack where the proprietor spits on the surrounding pavement and burns a woodfire six-feet away from the gas canister. The smell of whatever he is cooking can only be described as akin to Super Noodles.
Needs to be shut down as a hazard to public health.
