Absolutely DELISH! I’ve been to a lot of Fish & Chip shops but I can honestly say that this one is now my number 1! The staff are friendly and genuine and the food is FRESH! The COD is to die for not forgetting the mouth watering CHICKEN!!! The chicken was AMAZINGGG! My children are usually picky eaters but they LOVED the food and the lovely staff.
The food is inedible. I ordered fish bites which were like small fillets and were more skin than meat. The battered sausage tasted as bad as it looked and the halloumi bites were just gross. I’m not a fussy eater but this was the worst chippy experience I’ve ever had and wasn’t the cheapest either.
Lovely lightly battered but crunchy fresh succulent cod and home cut chips. The staff are immensely friendly and this is reflected in the arritude and friendliness of customers. The place had a great feel to it, and the staff all seemed happy. The new manager is really trying to turn the plaice (sorry) around and is doing a great job. My son and I loved it. If I had to add constructive criticism, the lighting was a tad harsh (standard takeaway) and the heating a bit low. But mustn't carp. It great (cash only) value. Really recommend!
From the customer service to the atmosphere of the restaurant to the quality of the food this place was amazing!! Served by the lovey Nuri who was beyond accommodating and sweet and freshest fish I’ve had hand down, hats off to the chef Barry!! Would without a doubt return and recommend to anyone!!
Visited this fish and chip shop for the second time in a couple of years, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. I plan to make Archway a Friday tradition for their fantastic fish and chips, despite not being a local and just visiting family.
I had a wonderful experience at the up do of Kingfishers Archway Same quality Food Reasonable Prices considering todays economy . Remaims a family owned and run bussiness. Be sure to check it out, either on your way home or out and about, as its local. Its Clean and has a nice atmosphere. Staff are happy to help with traditional customer service which you don't see much of! While supporting this family own bussness You get Proper Fish Chips No faffing about. why not treat your self, I did????

Fed family of four for less than £40 but could easily have ordered less as food portions huge! Especially loved the cod and chips, would definitely recommend!
Delishhhh food. If you want fish & chips this is the place! Not forgetting they are going to start doing the CHICKEN too!! If it’s anything like the fish YUM YUM. Best place to eat.
