We were really excited about trying this place for the first time. However we were very quickly brought down to earth with the long, long wait at the bar, I'm talking 20mins. It wasn't even that busy, 2 deep at the bar. The staff were completely inept at managing customers, there was a guy that showed up and was served in a few minutes, I'd been at the bar for 15min at the time! Went to sit down, tables covered in discarded drinks, free tables & chairs covered in poured drinks, you'd think it was 3am, it was actually 9pm! Toilet floors covered in pish, ladies bereft of toilet paper (I'm told), what a shambles this place is. Won't be back any time soon.
Super place and just the best live music!!! Food was lovely and staff pleasant and attentive.
Great food and fast service. Prices are great as well. Staff are excellent and really helpful. Food was brought fast and great presentation. Atmosphere is brilliant and decor is good as well and lots of large TV screens for any sporting events they are showing and easily seen from a wide part of the bar.
Asked for a pint of lager and a white wine got lager ok then the bar man said I have no wine glasses for the white wine unbelievable the bar man got a used glass from bar wiped them with a napkin and served us been in before no Sambuca then tonight no sav wine wine then no wine glasses wife used same glass for 3 wines then a guy got really angry with a woman at the bar thought there was going to be a fight what bar runs out of wine glasses I liked this bar but but what bar runs out of wine glasses and drink
Good scran, very cheap even before student discount
I was so excited to try the food here, and I left so disappointed. We we're waiting over 45 minutes for our food to come, and when it finally did we were disgusted. My burger was burned to the point I thought I was chewing on charcoal, and the fries weren't much better. (I would have sent it back, only I didn't want to wait a further 45 minutes -so we ate it and left). I seriously regret not saying anything at the time because it's really put me off going back.
The best fish & chips I ever had after visiting UK third time
Called in on a coach trip from Wales a great choice of beers. Had the nacho.s and chilli recommended by the friendly barmaid and cocktail. Both fantastic. Great service and food hope to return
