Definitely don't answer phone calls, use unprofessional '' drivers'' to deliver out courtesy cars to customers whose driving leaves everything to be desired. Speeding on a residential site, driving wrong way round one way system. Reversing blindly and out of control, missing corner completely and driving over a private garden. Truly shocking.
***Make absolutely sure you are dealing with your insurance company directly****
Avoid this mob like the plague. Kindertons, JP Morris and Blackthorn. Their crafty use of Google AdWords and rather vague admissions on the phone made them appear to be Direct Line and I unwittingly gave them all my info. They then attempted to get their hands on my car, by declaring it an insurance write off for a broken light and scratched bumper.
Thankfully I called Direct Line (the right number this time) to protest and they informed me they had no record of my claim, and told me they are well aware of this bunch of characters and to cease all contact immediately.
I'll repeat. Make absolutely sure you are calling your insurance company and not one of these organisations. I thought I was pretty shrewd and had I not known there was no way my car should be written off I could well have ended up scammed. Others may be less fortunate.
Shockingly terrible. I left a very long review detailing how awful this company are. They’ve either deleted or reported the review ???? That should say it all.
If you need further convincing to stay away.. I’ve received my car back after being ‘repaired’. It’s still covered in red paint from the bus and other damages.
Hopeless.
Avoid.
Don’t let your insurance company sell your non fault to Kindertons, they complicate matters, they want you to do their job for them. They are lazy. They are Incompetent and very unhelpful.
Provided a statement, a witness, dash cam footage, crime ref, drawing and photos… still can’t proceed, can’t get van sorted and can’t get third party insurance to admit liability… Or quite simply not even trying.
Shocking and terrible service
After a month were still stuck with a courtesy car, no contact, call to say i want a call back put through as urgent then no call back.
Told us couldnt get the car back then started we opted for it and want them to dispose at a cost! We didnt opt for nothing we wasnt even given a choice. Awful experience and still no further forward..
The poor reviews are spot on. Would have given no stars if possible. Awful customer service, still waiting weeks later for reimbursement for fuel, staff in the call centre seem trained to send you around in circles and couldn't care less, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... Avoid at all costs, worse customer service experience I have ever had
If I could give NO stars I would. Totally unprofessional company with no customer satisfaction policy. Was told one thing by them, then without warning they changed it. Didn't even inform the bodyshop to book my vehicle in! Don't call back when they say they will. Non fault claim but now I'm out of pocket due to their incompetence! Even their complaints department seemed unprofessional and blasé about my complaint! I'd AVOID this company if I were you!!
Week before a courtesy car, had a blow out the next day they said we would have to pay for call out and tyre got a different person every time I rang mis managed my claim for 5 weeks then they said I would have to go through my insurance after they bought my car for scap £311.00 The only helpful people was the persons bringing courtesy car out
