y friends recommended me this place and they said it’s the best Chinese. I ordered hot and sour soup, sweet and sour shrimp and fried chicken with green pepper and hot black bean sauce. They told me the soup has shrimp and pork in it. I asked if they can make it without the pork. They said yes. When I brought home the food (because they don’t have tables), I noticed that there’s not even one shrimp in the soup. But it had some meat, which I suppose was the pork (which I specifically ASKED NOT TO PUT IN!!).
The chicken with black bean sauce was really good, but the sweet and sour was a disappointment. I had lots of sweet and sour when I was living in Thailand and it was nothing like that. It wasn’t even red, as it’s supposed to be.
Best Chinese in the area - I’m allergic to eggs so usually have problems at a Chinese even when specifying no eggs (due to them not cleaning utensils) but have been going here for years and never had any issues. Recommend the Singapore fried noodles, salt and chilli chicken wings and five spice chicken. Delivery is usually late so safer to pick up in person.
place for years. Last time was disappointing but thought it was a one off. Had beef curry tonight and it was absolutely disgusting!!!! No trace of curry. It was pure salt/ msg. The worst Chinese ever!!! Don't think I will be going back again . My husband Tom always comes in for takeaway!!! He ordered 2 x beef curry and rice tonight about 6.00. don't tell me no one ordered it!!!! It was the worst Chinese I've ever had. Absolutely disgusting. Now you have the cheek to reply to complaint by saying no one ordered curry beef tonight!!!! I'm not surprised because what you served did not resemble beef curry in any way!!! If this is your customer service and response then you have lost our custom.

Always got food from this place and I have been very happy with their customer service and the food have always been amazing. This place is definitely a hidden gem, a must try Chinese takeaway. 10/10
I have been a customer at Kim Wah since 1998. The food quality hasn’t changed a bit. Excellent prices and great selection of dishes to satisfy everyone.
The staff and customer service are above and beyond what you would expect.

My family have been coming here for many years and it is my sisters go to when ordering a Chinese. This is the only place she will order from and when ever I am at hers and we have a Chinese it’s from here.
It’s always lovely and the staff are great too.

Friendly staff, tasty food and not pricey!
Used to love Kim wah been coming here since I was a kid but the last two times I have eaten from there I have had food poison both times from the duck
