A quirky post office and cafe with a view. We had tea and cake at the end of the West Island Way. Sitting in the window watching the world go. Dog friendly and if it's busy there are picnic tables opposite in good weather. There is also a collection of Titanic memorabilia which adds interest. Stop here the cake is excellent.
We had a lovely walk along the water side, and decided to finish a pleasant afternoon with tea and cake. Pleasant staff and surroundings, we enjoyed the view from the large window. Only for someone to park their car directly in front of the window, blocking the view.
My partner was very annoyed that for the sake of walking an extra 5ft the ignorant car driver gave no thought to anybody who may be visiting as a one off. When asked off he could move his car the ignorant car drive thought it was funny to pass a smart remark. Then continued to pass comments about The Western Isles route, which we were not undertaking.
As residents of a city famed for music and football we are extremely use to sightseers from all over the world, and offer a smile or directions if asked. It is such a pity that small-minded individuals ignore the money that tourism brings to our local communities, when in many circumstances the array of shops, cafes, bars etc would not survive without this additional income. Perhaps this is something to be considered.
A great location by the water. Seating inside for up to 12 people, plus outside seating for another 16.
Really good sevice from Catherine and Tina.
A big plus is that it is open 7 days a week during the summer.
A very nice place by the sea. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and they serve home baked cakes and scones. I can really high recommend this place.
Absolutely wonderful. If you are in the area, must go. Loved the wee lady who served us, reminded me of ma wee aunty. Delicious cake and coffee sitting out looking over the bay. Lovely escape from city hustle and bustle life ❤️
A lovely, rural shop /post office/tea room.
Seating areas both inside and outside. The owner Stuart and assistant Fraser are at hand to make and serve a wide selection of tasty food whether you want lunch or a cafetiere of coffee, scones or gorgeous cakes. ☕❤️

It's a must visit for anyone on the island. The lemon cake and coffee cake are so delicious. And the cafetiere coffee is the best I've tasted on the island!
All topped off with the great atmosphere and great service :)
