The doctors are extremely good but the lady on reception I felt let down by. I had to ring 111 as my blood pressure was high. They sent out the paramedics to check and my blood pressure was still high. They said to save me a lengthy wait at the hospital they kindly tried to ring my doctors which they were number 12 in the queue. Jack the paramedic kindly walked to my doctors which is just down the road. Amy the other paramedic was still trying to get the ECG to work. I did not ask them to make me the appointment they kindly offered. When I got to my appointment the lady on reception looked straight at me then whispered to her colleague. My mother died in her early 60s and there is heart problems in my family history so I was worried. I felt very let down by this. Other than that I can’t fault the doctors and nurses.
Tried to get an appointment over the phone, after listening to a recorded message about the Corona Virus for 1 min 30 seconds, they say an advisor will be with you soon, then it says we are extremely busy at the moment, please call back later, then cuts you off. After continued trying, I get to a receptionist who was rude and they have no appointments. They are sending patients to Haywood Walk in Center, were there is a 3and a half hour wait. To try and get to see your doctor who you are registered with here is not easy. 1* as I could not go any lower.

The doctors and nurses themselves are fantastic, I can't fault them at all. What let's this doctors down is the reception staff, NOT helpful at all give abuse to the patients and threaten to take patients off the service and not provide the duty of care they are obligated to do for us. We're in the process of changing doctors which isn't easy but yet the receptionists are still arguing and not providing us with the duty of care so having to call 111 for advice and troubling them when they are busy enough is causing more stress and emotional issues than needed.
Can never get through just get cut off if after calling for hours you manage to get put into a queue to be told no appts go to the Haywood.
Care good when you manage to assess services Doctors excellent .
Issue is almost impossible to get through on the phone after listening to recorded information you get asked to phone back later as all lines are busy .Attempted 5 times which took 30 minutes . Tried l hour
later got through on the 4th time . It was the same previous week . If you need a telephone appointment you will probably be too late.

Took a while to get through this morning, but after that I cant fault the service. Phone call after work, seen by a Dr and prescription collected in the space of an hour. What a lovely Dr I saw, so understanding for workers and caring for my needs.
Glad I changed my Drs.
