So these have appeared in Luton Kashmir stores in March 2024, They taste as they always have done. The store owner says they're imported from the USA but the packaging all says Bradford UK.....
Found the KCB Rusk cakes in a local shop today please don’t get rid of them now we suffered from withdrawal symptoms once they were off the shelves

The best cake rusks by a country mile but sadly not so readily available as they used to be which is annoying. I dont trust some of the newer brands on the market many of them dont even do cake rusks with fennel which is a favourite product of min in the Kashmir Bakeries range
What can I say amazing I've always got my birthday cakes and wedding cakes from here the best
I miss cake rusks from KCB.
I used to be able to buy them from any desi or large supermarket .
Today I can't find Kcb anywhere

I found that nafees bakery has cake rusks In similar packaging to KCB. I asked them, they told me nafees bakery owners are related to KCB and they have taken over the rusk production.
They taste remarkably similar to KCB.
So sad, their cake rusks were a staple in British Pakistani households.
