The best Indian food in the East Midlands by far. We have been going to Kadirs since the 1980’s and even though we have moved out of Leicester we still travel back to eat.

For over 40 years, my family and I have savoured the delicious freshly homemade food at Kadi Refreshments. Do you remember the restaurant on Melton Road? Well the hidden gem remains inconspicuous on L'bro Road. The secret recipes remain secret and long may Kadirs continue. 'Bestest' food in town. Whenever I'm abroad, I miss Kadirs. Love and Blessings to Mr. Kadir and family.
Owner gives the food in a box, does not use bags, my box broke on the way home and ruined most of my food, only thing was left was rice and some biryani, all my chicken curry was ruined all my chapatis, my biryani sauce was ruined, owner said he will sort it, I was soo hungry my tummy was hurting on this day, as I work in a hospital and had no time all day to eat.
When I tried to call back after a few weeks to have the items replaced, owner made it difficult to have the things replaced, he was offering less than what was damged. And I felt like this was going to turn into an argument so i just said don't worry and hung up.
In the end I gave up, if the owner want to be like this, okay, he is happy and good luck to him.
Best Lamb Samosas and Chicken Biriyani In Europe. Hands Down. If I was you I'd try it! Because you're missing out!
First time using Kadir and so far, so good. Chicken Curry and Rice Meat Biriyani. Not too spicy very tasty. Yes I'll be going back again.
