A really nice little pub. Good food, and a great range of gin behind the bar too. Staff were really nice, only slight downside is that because it's a little bit out of the way, there's not a lot of parking nearby. We'll definitely be back!
They did have an off day in December (or thereabouts; we thought there may have been someone filling in for the usual chef), but every other meal has been great value and well prepared and cooked. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.
We've been in this bar/restaurant many times in the past and the food has been excellent. But today's experience was disappointing, definitely not up to previous standards, the roast beef was very tough! If this had been our first experience of the Juniper we would have not been back.
Six of us for lunch. Brilliant service and the food was fabulous. A reall effort to use local suppliers. Very impressed. And prices so low I'm a little worried the bill was wrong. We'll be back for dinner (and to try some of those gins!)

There is a cosy, inviting atmosphere in this restaurant with friendly, yet very professional, staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. However the restaurant earns its biggest star with the food! Wonderful food, worthy of the most expensive city venues, can be enjoyed here at a much more reasonable price. Great chef, great food and great service......what more could you wish for!
Was there recently for Sunday lunch and was given lovely choices from 2 menus. One being suitable for vegetarians. Each course was beautifully presented. 2 courses for £14.95. Will definitely return as I was spoiled for choice!
Such a breath of fresh air to get delicious, locally sourced and well presented food on your doorstep! Kenny's menus are always interesting, tasty but remain grounded and Marie Claire's front of house attention to detail and her customer service means you'll be immediately be planning your next visit, as soon as you go. A very pleasant night out..oh and don't forget to try the gin menu!
