This used to be a good chemist friendly knowledgeable staff. Not they are sarcastic, share you personal details and prescription details swift everyone in the shop and you cannot collect prescriptions at lunch time but told me to come back “Monday lunchtime” Also do not have basic items in stock. So sad to see a community resource bomb out.
Do not use. The pharmacy doesn’t keep all its records up to date as required. These include its records about fridge temperatures and controlled drugs.
The pharmacy does not have robust date-checking processes. It cannot show that it keeps medicines which require refrigeration at the right temperature. And it doesn’t always keep medicines in containers which have the necessary information on the label. So, it cannot always be sure that the medicines are safe to use.
They do not uphold to standards required.What can patients and the public expect from registered pharmacies?

The staff working in the pharmacy must be competent and empowered to do their roles (they are not, the misserable lady at the counter is useless and the pharmacist more so).
There are enough staff with the right skills and training to give you safe and effective care
The staff will always act in your best interests
The staff can speak up when they have concerns and these concerns will be taken seriously and acted on
The pharmacy premises must be appropriate to provide pharmacy services
You receive pharmacy services in a clean and safe environment
You can speak to the pharmacy team in private if you prefer
The pharmacy must supply medicines and provide other services safely and effectively
You get medicines that are safe and good-quality, and get any advice you need to help you take your medicines
You have confidence when using any of the services offered by the pharmacy
The services provided by the pharmacy are accessible for you
The pharmacy’s equipment and facilities must be safe and effective
The equipment and facilities the pharmacy uses to provide its services to you are clean and fit for purpose
The staff use the equipment and facilities to help to make sure you receive good-quality care.
And the miserable lady at the counter and pharmacist should be sacked.
Used to be amazing, now there is an awfully rude woman that works in there and gives false timing as to when prescriptions will be ready. Will be changing where I collect medication in the future
this is the worst pharmacy for getting your perscriptions.i wish we had another close by there is no customer value
Closed 10 minutes before opening hours suggest it'll be closed with no note as to why.
Booked to have my covid injection today 9.30am in Preddy chemist , Moorland Rd. The lady who was doing them was walking around ‘slowly’ doing nothing just wandering - I asked if we were going to get on with the vaccines as I was now 6 minutes late going in ( with work to go in too, she seemed not to be even starting the process ) she said - the computer isn’t on - my answer was - that’s because you haven’t turned it on. She looked at me and said do you want to come in. I said yes and went into the room. She asked one question - have you had a reaction to a covid injection before? I said no.
She did not ask my name she did not ask if I had any medical conditions - of which I have a serious one - all other 4 jabs I’ve had for covid - I have been asked to stay for a while to check I’m okay afterwards.
So to make this clear she didn’t know my name only presuming I was the first person in the list. She had no knowledge of my background.
She asked which arm -
Then she put the injection in my arm with no warning
When I said she was not being thoughtful or particularly kind and said I should complain she said that’s fine- I said it’s not fine to be complained about !!
The man in the back of the shop looked and I told him what had happened all except the information about my medical condition.
I am not happy with the care I’ve had today. I hope she was more polite to the others sat there waiting - all of which could hear what happened!
She is a very unkind person in my opinion and one that doesn’t clearly care if she has the right person or not!
She should not being doing that job with her attitude.
Great pharmacy just a little over run at the moment with so many others closing. If you can call first to see if your prescription is in.
Till staff are fantastic I'd give 5 stars however the pharmacy lady isn't could barely be bothered to speak to me. Told me to keep my cut elbows covered which I did but they got worse so went to another pharmacy who told me that i musu keep air to them to heal which they dod straight away. Also recently rang about my nan who was on morphine and itching and was told that morphine diesnt do that. Just checked side effects and it said itching is a side effect.
