Friendly bar, close to my best mates house, had a band on who was excellent. Clean, good atmosphere, no idiots or clowns in sight
Probably aimed at folk a bit younger and jump aboutier than me.
Not very welcoming at all !! Called in to have one drink in the garden to be told after ordering drinks and Covid check in and temperature checked that premises was no longer a pub but a club and would have to join or pay £2 each extra for one drink. (Went in 2 weeks ago and was fine). No signs displayed and not allowed one drink as unaware of new rules. Will not bother again….
Played in the band on Saturday night. Great pub for a huge variety of live music every Saturday and also has huge TV screens for watching the football. Exceptionally friendly staff and locals and beer decent price £3.10 for carling. Big covered outdoor area for decent weather or having a smoke. Looking forward to my next visit.
Cleanest pub you may ever go into. Very reassuring during these uncertain times. Excellent friendly staff, always a great pint

Lovely friendly bar, nice little outside space and rear car park, always clean and tidy inside and outside with a good range of drinks and reasonable prices, would definitely recommend!
Nice place. But famed for its unwelcoming owner which is a shame. The last pub you should try in higham because of this. Could be an amazing place if changed hands.
