I could not recommend John enough and wouldn’t take my car anywhere else. I had an issue with the radar on my e-Pace. Inchscape in Chester had it for a week and wanted to charge me £300 to take the front of the car off to investigate. John diagnosed the issue in 2 minutes over the phone (incorrect badge was fitted and blocking radar). He told us the part number and even kindly swapped it for me when I wasn’t sure how to do it. Amazing service, friendly guy and above all, he was really honest and genuine.
Can’t recommend John enough, took my Discovery sport in as the engine management light was on, John carried out a diagnostic report and sourced the parts and fitted all in a speedy time. John explained what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix the problems.
Very reasonably priced & John is a knowledgeable genuine guy who knows his stuff. I will definitely be using John again for future services and have already recommended to friends.
Can’t recommend John enough if you have JLR issues. He serviced my Evoque and sorted a DPF issue I had. He’s knowledgeable and tells you what is needed and was patient with my phone calls and questions about everything!!

John is incredibly knowledgeable and within ten minutes had found the issue with my Jag XE when the main dealer tried to charge me five hours labour. Really decent genuine guy and can 100% recommend.
I have just got my Jaguar F Pace back off John that had a emissions light on since December
The car had been back and forth in Hatfields Liverpool the main dealership as they struggled identifying the problem with it, they charged me £550 and gave me the car back with the fault still on the car, they told me to bring the car back another time as they had another car with the same fault and would repair mine when they had fixed that one, so they knew what the problem was
They also kept my car for 3 weeks and never offered me a courtesy car.
This week they informed me they knew what the problem was, it was both feed pipes to the DEF unit to do with the adblue, and the parts would be £330 plus labour.
I thought I would get in touch with JLR specialists too see what they could do,
I took my car to John who diagnosed the problem and guaranteed to fix it, he was true to his word and sorted the emissions fault within a few hours, the fault was not the DEF pipes that needed replacing, it was a corroded pin inside one of the pipes.
He is a proper JLR specialist who is very knowledgable and generally a very nice person.
I would highly recommend anybody to him, I would not take my car anywhere else in future,
He is very reasonable also.
I’ve used John twice now and on both occasions the work has been completed to excellent standards. John was even able to locate and repair an oil leak that my dealers suggested was caused by a faulty drain plug. His product knowledge is spot on and I will continue to use John should the need arise.
Work completed on a discovery 4, new Cam belt and service, great quality work good communication and a massive saving compared to Jlr quoted price. Lots of great advice about my car great guy and top service.
Took 2014 XF Sportbrake in for non-functioning central locking issue, seemingly a common fault on 2013/14 models after battery disconnect/reconnect. Googled all the Jaguar forums first for fixes - few made any sense and none worked. John had the diagnostics running moments after I arrived and very quickly solved the problem - and at a fraction of the cost of main dealership prices. Outstanding expert service from a guy who really knows his stuff, won’t hesitate to go back again, many thanks.
