My wife collected 2 fish and a portion of chips with a portion of peas and a portion of gravy.

We have made ours up and we will NEVER visit again.
Shocking. The chips were not fresh, they were scragg ends and tasted like they’d been hanging around. The battered sausage was slightly burnt. I’m disappointed as the previous visit was good ????♂️
Ordered a portion chips and when getting home was a little disappointed with the portion size. They do however taste lovely but would definitely benefit from adding another scoop of chips.

We have been using this establishment for about six months after the closure of our usual Fish and Chip shop.
Placed our order today on Just eat it arrived and on inspection very disappointed. My wife’s fish looked like it had just been thrown from a great height into the box with what could only be described as yesterday’s chips. I ordered battered sausage and a battered spam fritter, the sausage came with no batter and as for the spam fritter well a forensic team would have had difficulty finding the batter and again what could only be described as yesterday’s chip re-heated.
We were that disappointed I drove back and we returned the whole meal back to the shop, the gentleman was very apologetic and re-cooked our order.
Unfortunately even the second attempt was appalling fish was watery with no flavour,spam fritter was inedible, and again re-heated chips.
In fact the lot went in the bin in todays climate people cannot afford what you could now describe as a luxury and end up out of pocket and hungry.
Will not be going again which is unfortunate as it is very local.
Fish and chips, fish, chips and large peas = £15-60.
The fish/batter was fantastic, the chips decent, the peas needed a little more flavour and I would class them smaller than a large portion.
Only the small standard forks available so not so comfortable to eat.
The establishment was very clean and the staff were welcoming and polite.
A bit hit and miss, have had some great meals from here and others not so great. Seems to be dependent on who’s frying. Like someone else has mentioned, this recent visit the chips weren’t freshly made and the lightly battered fish was greasy.
Staff have always been polite and friendly.
Been going since it reopend. we got fish bits and chips I'm sorry but the chips were refried and solid in the middle the fish bits had no fish all soggy batter the shop looks like they need a cleaner quickly very grubby won't be going again
Best fish and chip shop around, the size of the fish is incredible, biggest flakes ever. Liam was polite and professional. Will definitely come back again
