A great south east Asian restaurant which serves both Singaporean and Malay food and more. We visited for dinner and it was brilliant. I went for beef rendang with the singaporean nasi goreng which was a bit different to the usual one I'm used to. My better half went for the Singaporean noodles with an assortment of soup and salad. The food and pricing was really good for Geneva and the service was great. We didn't have a reservation as we turned up quite early but making one is recommended if you're visiting during peak hours.
food is very good. it is not easy to get such good Singapore food outside of Singapore. downside is that you can expect to pay double to triple what you would normally pay in Singaporean restaurants.

I recently had the displeasure of dining at Jeck's Place, and let me tell you, it was an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. First off, the food took an eternity to arrive. I'm talking about waiting so long that I started to question whether the chef had to go hunt down the ingredients themselves.
And the staff? Well, if you enjoy being treated like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer, then this is the place for you. They had all the charm of a wet mop and the warmth of a freezer aisle.
Now let's talk about the pièce de résistance – the food. If you're a fan of bland, uninspired dishes that taste like they've been sitting out since the Stone Age, then Jeck's Place is your culinary nirvana. I've had better-tasting cardboard. Seriously, even the salt refused to sprinkle itself on the food out of sheer embarrassment.
In conclusion, if you enjoy wasting your time, being treated like dirt, and eating flavorless slop, then by all means, make a reservation at Jeck's Place. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and steer clear. You'll thank me later. Or, better yet, you'll thank yourself for not subjecting your taste buds to such torment.
I may not be a Singaporean, but I have been to Singapore several times and am a proud friend of plenty of Singaporeans. We all agree that this is the best Singaporean food we’ve had outside of Singapore (having tried places across the US and the UK). Everything was amazing, but there were a few really excellent dishes:
* The Char Kuey Teow was incredible. I’ve never had satisfying CKT outside of Singapore before this. This one is proper — wok hei, super umami, not too sweet — just really good.
* The sambal kang kong was spicy and salty and really satisfying to eat alongside the spicy crispy beef, with a bit of rice.
* The laksa was perfectly rich with coconut and a hint of seafood flavor, plus an aromatic spice mix that was enjoyably heavy on star anise.
* The mee goreng was the spiciest dish we had, also very satisfying.
The couple that runs the restaurant is also incredibly kind and treated us so well!
An institution in the city being the only Singaporean restaurant for more than 20 years
Delicious choice of South East Asia specialities, but you shouldn't miss the spicy crabs ????
Fresh foreign beers ???? are a must
