This is as good as it gets, we arrived about 30 minutes before closing but that was no problem for them, no less than 4 (yes four) separate Gluten Free options of cake available, which is so rare, and all homemade and delicious looking too.
The coffee was lovely and could easily be sold at twice the price, I got two generous cups out of my cafetière.

Absolutely Gem hidden in Selkirk, we walked past it before we seen it, so glad we did see it.

A wonderful welcome from the delightful people who run this independent cafe, accompanied by a friendly chat, a great cup of tea and home made cheese scone. It's so pleasant to find places that offer genuine 'hospitality' coupled with excellent products ... but that is very much the hallmark of businesses in the Scottish Borders!
Small local café with an excellent range of coffees and teas, something the proprietors are evidently passionate about.
Service is reasonably prompt and always friendly. We have been here several times for a coffee - and even lunch - and always found a table. There are additional tables out the back.

Gorgeous cheese scones and lovely coffee. Very friendly hosts willing to engage in conversation.
Very nice indeed. Friendly service and clean with tasty food. The only slight downside was that they dont do chips as all i wanted was a bowl of chips. But the alternative toastie was delicious. 5 stars otherwise.
