We were a table of 8 people and the food and service was excellent. Even the chef came out to see if everything was ok. It was our first time here, everyone enjoyed their meal, presentation was nice and we will come back again.
Scattered pieces of oxtail swimming in grease. Absolutely disgraceful. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened my delivery.
I think its embarrassing they would even send this container out.
I don’t know who the chef is, but they need their apron taken away from them. And whoever packaged up the food deserves to get sacked for their morals.

So glad I live around the corner no need to go elsewhere or down south London ! Guys GuYs the patties is a must must try ( it’s something else ) and the curries with the flavoursome RICE and peas plus the delicious jerk chicken !! This place is heaven !! I stop here guys am starving already!!!!
Ordered late on Sunday through uber eats. Jerk chicken meal and a portion of stew chicken with festival and fried dumpling. Was expecting a decent meal due to the good reviews but sadly disappointed.
Firstly the stew chicken had a few pieces of chicken most of which was bones, and quiet a lot of potatoes which was hard from being undercooked and being more peppery and oily than any I've tasted before which didn't go down well with my guest either.
The Jerk chicken meal, the chicken didn't seem to be cooked in a drum but the sauce was fine, it did seem small aswell, I'm used to getting a 1/4 everywhere else as standard but this was just a thigh chopped in 3 pieces.
I didn't taste the dumpling or festival so can't comment on it but was standard size and looked OK.
Overall I feel ripped off to say the least, this is the first and last time ordering from here.
Note I have never been to the shop in person either as I wasn't aware of it till I saw it on ubereats and googled it for reviews.
Chicken soup was nice but the oxtail, sadly, was very bland. There was A LOT of oil and not much flavour in the gravy at all.
the curry goat was excellent The rice and peas where on par… theOnly thing that could have been better was the fried dumplings in my opinion Abit salty and greasy
I never visited but ordered via uber eats. I called after i got my food to say there was no rice and peas. The reply was there is nowhere that i can buy ackee and saltfish along with rice and peas for 9 pound. I clearly stated my order and that it is also on my receipt. He wants to shout and tell me to clam down. Well lucky refunds exsist.
