We visited this restaurant for the second time in a month. We had the lamb shank and venison which were cooked to perfection. We made room for a desserts consisting of trio of ice cream, and steamed pudding. Both were gorgeous. The service was perfect, with us being led to the table and our starters ready. The atmosphere was lovely, and relaxed, with one or two other tables full. This. restaurant is a gem to the island and we will be returning.

Excellent restaurant. Yvonne, Rodney and their staff are always polite and the food is always very enjoyable. Meal prices are very reasonable but of course adding wine & pre-dinner drinks will add to the cost. Commenting on other reviews i would like to add that a) there is nothing wrong with the decor, I go there to eat not admire the scenery and b) I'm glad you're not allowed to use mobile phones. It's a small intimate restaurant and I for one do not want my evening ruined by listening to someone else's phone conversations. Please carry on running the restaurant the way it is.
Our first visit to this restaurant and we weren't disappointed.. The food was excellent and the staff were a delight- even giving my husband a complimentary piece of cheesecake to take home after he commented how delicious it looked. Would definitely recommend.
Came here on a Groupon deal for a three course evening meal with my partner. The staff were very friendly and polite throughout. What let this place down is that it was very much stuck in a time warp. The décor is in need of an update and the menu choices were quite dated. I had the venison steak which was cooked to perfection, however my partner's choice of the chicken and blue cheese sauce left a lot to be desired. The voucher deal seemed good at the outset, however we found it less than good value when factoring in the price of the drinks and gratuity. Nothing at all unpleasant with this venue, bit we left feeling a little underwhelmed.
A high class establishment among the fast food outlets nearby. The food is definitely haute cuisine, not a large restaurant but clean and comfortable.
The Management and staff are friendly but not overbearing.
In the West of Hayling Island, easy to find with its own car park.
Recommended to all food lovers.

Found the restaurant on Groupon. Overall a great experience. Nothing like a high class French restaurant but quite alright. It was quite odd that they do not have a drinks menu, or dessert wines menu. Pricewise good for the quality. The food was delicious!
As an ex restauranteur, to find a gem like Jaspers is fantastic. The food is superb, the staff friendly, attentive and polite.
This is a traditional restaurant, linen everywhere, proper table layout, excellent food from a small but very creative menu.
Lovely lounge area for pre dinner drinks and after coffee and liquers.
Pricewise it is excellent value, and quality is beyond reproach. If you have never been, go, but do book in advance.
Could not fault it, and highly recommend it.
If you enjoy fine dining, this is a must.
