Really helpful guys. Been a few times for issues that have arose and once for an MOT. Really straightforward with you and don't add unnecessary things to a job to make £££. Friendly bunch too, which is always a bonus
I have used Jans for over 20 Years. The service is second to none.
They have serviced all my cars from Range Rovers to Focus’s.
When using a garage is not just the price it’s trust that really matters.
Absolute waste of time..booked the car in a week ago for full diagnostics.dropped car in at 09:30.
Phoned them up at 16:00 to ask how my car was getting on and was told the guy who had worked on it would call me back as he's busy.
I took a bus ride up and arrived at 17:30 to be greeted by "I'm a bit eager" as they hadn't even looked at it yet...
I'm a bit eager even though they have had the car 8hrs !!!! And pre booked in over a week ago !!!
Bearing in mind it's now near 17:30.
They had the car for 8hrs and done NOTHING to it ! Not even opened the door....
Only found out because I turned up nearly 8hrs later without telling them.
Now that is shocking.
Seriously save yourself the hassle and go else where....
I wish I did.!!

So i Booked my car in over a week ago for diagnostics for £35 or if you had to go further investigating it would be £65....
So booked in well over a week in advance.
Dropped the car to you at 09:30 and handed over the key.
By 16:00 heard nothing so made a call to you and was told the guy who's worked on the car will call me back as he's busy.
I live 2 bus journeys away and start work at 19:00 so decided to get ahead and jump on the 2 buses to get to you.
I arrive at 17:00 30 minutes before you close.
After standing around 10 minutes the young lad approaches me and I said...so how we looking ?.
He said your eager.
I said why is that ?.
He said as I've not even had chance to look yet.
I said it's been booked in over a week with you and you've had it 8 hours !.
He said we've been busy.
I said don't bother I'll leave it and I said have you got the key to which he handed over.
I left the garage....
That is a true and exact interpretation of what happened.
Now your saying my intention was to get something for free.
Let me get this straight......
I booked in well over a week ago.
I paid for a taxi back home after dropping the car off.
I had to pick up my kids on the bus and return home.
I then had to catch 2 busses to go get my car costing me around £25 total traveling.
Only for me to take my key back and get zero information about my car .......
Not sure what planet you are from but anyone with 2 brain cells can see I'm the one who has lost out on traveling expenses and inconvenience without my car...
So all you have done is proved your a lier and potential customers are better going elsewhere...
So.....what I've done for you today is reported this to trading standards ref> jans/rm00998.
Because you say I owe you money for work alleged work carried out on my car.
My car was parked directly in perfect view of your cctv as can be seen from within the shop on the monitor.
Please keep the footage showing 1 of you going to my car and spending any time with it during the 8 hrs that you had it as they are going to request it.....
As it turns out you've received bad reviews before for not doing work but charging for it then giving poor excuses.....strange that !.
Now secondly.....either you call the police and hand over the cctv of me being abusive in any way whatsoever or I will contact them !.believe me I will because I have nothing to hide !.
I hope you can point the trading standards in the direction of my obd port ?.
As mine was removed and put in a totally different place by the previous keeper to help prevent theft.....obviously you found it because you say you have plugged it in during the day and that I owe you money for it...
The only thing I owe you for is parking because my car was parked outside all day at your place waiting to be looked at.
Did you notice the forward/rear and internal dashcam ? Strange how it only showed me dropping it off and then me picking it up ??.
You.....we all make mistakes but it's how we rectify them that makes us stand out and be a good person.
You got upset because I caught you out on a lie then you try and blacken my name when I o ly had good intentions on getting my car fixed.
Fabulous garage who are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to help the personal touch is always a massive bonus when dealing with garages and problems with your car highly recommended!! Thanks lads
Took her in last month for an air con gas up.... 20 minutes job done. Great guys, family run and friendly. So had it back in yesterday for brakes all round before a trip to the Highlands. Had it all day and after some issues with the rear drums (supplier issue) sorted it anyway and even picked up on and did a track rod end that was unknown about. Top job lads.
Well,l can’t recommend this business too much,what a brilliant place, Just had my air conditioner sorted,rang first but just said call in any time.Everyone was so helpful, courteous & pleasant Even given a bottle of iced water while l waited.Explained everything they did,not that l was any the wiser as l just put the fuel in!! Any ladies bothered about being ripped off for repairs,fear not,they are genuinely lovely guys.A family run firm l hope they continue to prospere……one highly satisfied seenager!! Linda
Got told off halfords need new alternator took it down to jans . Got a call off them few hours later its not your Alternator Dave and said so instead of £405 it will be £110 . Now how many garages would do that ? I will tell you not many at all most would of put a alternator on . Cant vouch for the lads enough top class work top customer service 5 Star all round service best in area hands down without a doubt . Booked straight in for full service nice to be able to trust in someone that they will do a good job many thanks Dave .
Absolutely brilliant service we have just had a new clutch fitted they went above and beyond working until late at night on it even picking my husband up at 9.30pm so he could drive it back.
