Would give this place 0 stars if it was an option. 12pm (middle of the day) and they had a few rough looking bits of quice and some stale looking pigs and blanket sandwiche.....the lady behind the counter said she could possibly scrape enough pork together to do a hot pork sandwich.....basically trying to palm the scraps off on customer's. Wouldn't visit again, I've never known a hot food shop that opens early in the morning and has nothing left to serve customer's at 11am ????.....similar experience to the lad who left the review saying nothing was left by 9am. Don't know how the place is still running and definitely wouldn't waste my time going again!!!!
Criminally underrated place. The bloke serving was a good laugh and the food and prices cannot be beaten.
This is probably one of the best sausage rolls I've ever had in my life! Imagine a Gregg's sausage roll but rather than a slim and measly rectangular filling make the filing 4 times bigger and not oily. Then make the pastry solid and flavourful. It's so big and heavy if I dropped it on my foot I'd need steel toe capped boots! Fantastic! From the outside you can't tell but this piece of full of proper pies and proper sausage rolls. Get in and try this amazing place you will thank me. Yum yum.
This deli is the best around! Everything is fresh and tasty.
I'm a big fan of the saveloy dip, quiche and bacon rolls.
Their prices are reasonable and all the food is quality.
The staff are all friendly & welcoming.
Wish they had a cafe as well!!!

Absolute joke of a shop been down to try this shop 3 times now and every time they don’t have anything left I am turning up for food at around half 9am and every time so it not like it’s the end of the day I turn up it’s just empty pointless even being open poor business terrible avoid at all cost if your wanting food because you’ll more then likely get there and they will have nothing available
A mainstay of Forest Hall for over 10 years. The Saveloy Dips are a monstrous beauty.
The food is always good, the shop sticks to rules about people going into shop. It is very clean and staff friendly and helpful, wear masks extra. Thier sandwiches are second to none. Well worth a visit.
