The food was really delicious, even the French fries were crisp and not at all oily. The order took a while but was well worth the wait. Try their beef Angus steak, you won't regret it.
Dog, baby and vegan friendly restaurant and bar that has comfortable seating, decent food and good service! They had plenty of spaces even though it was a busy weekday-holiday evening and could accommodate our walk-in group of 8 adults, 1 baby and 1 dog. Reasonable prices and generous portions too. One point to note is that their soup of the day is marked vegan but they serve it with bread that contains dairy/ eggs and butter so if you're vegan/ allergic please check with the staff members.
Absolutely amaizing restaurant both food and service. So many waiters were taking care of us and have friendly conversation with us too. We had fish and chips which in my opinion was luxury. I cannot forget about that meal :D. We also tried some coctails and it was amaizing too. We would like to come back some time.
Dinner for two after long day of walking. Had burger ala UK that was good. No wait for table or service. Service was professional and courteous. Restaurant only accepts cards for payment.
The bar/lounge area is dog friendly and baby friendly. Great cozy atmosphere. Food is decent and not pricy considering that its in a hotel. We had the risotto and it turned out to be vegan and delicious.
Jamboree Foodfest is located downstairs inside the Novotel Hotel. We visited around 20:30 on a Friday evening and the place was almost empty.
We were served instantly, the service was spot on and our food arrived quite quickly but it went down hill from there.
I ordered the Full Rack of Pork Ribs served with Sweet Potato Fries and Salad, my friend ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala served with Boiled Rice and a Naan Bread.
What a disappointment. Even though the prices were reasonable and the presentation and portion sizes were perfect, the food was a total let down.
The ribs were the boil in the bag type and had that cheap bitter BBQ sauce taste to it, the dressing on the salad wasn't great either. The only good thing about my order was the Sweet Potato Fries.
The Chicken Tikka Masala was watery and tasteless, we actually laughed because it felt like a joke. It was like they heated up a £1 Iceland meal and dressed it up to look like some sort of gourmet meal.
Suffice to say, we will not be visiting here for food again, maybe drinks but definitely not food.
The staff here are just lovely and friendly. The place has a very chilled out vibe (might be because it was a weekday evening) but decor nay to shabby. Decent enough calamari and sweet potato fries. Generous with their shots of gin- could it be because we really looked like a good G&T was needed?! Ah well. All round good place. Giving it a 3 star just because of the location of the rest rooms. In the basement of the premises.. not ideal when one needs to go!
Clean and tidy place with attentive staff to look after you. The food was tasty and the portions not massive. I'd eat here again no worries.
