Ignore the one star rating, this place is an absolute gem. The takeaway food (both Chinese and fish & chips) is unpretentious but delicious. I hardly ever write reviews for anything but when I see an unfair and dubious one star review from 'Summer' for a place that should be respected then I feel the urge to put the record straight.

Worth the travelling
Ordered battered sausage and chips good price but there was multiple long black hairs in my food absolutely disgusting. The food is always oily and makes me feel sick. The wait is long and their is always a small kid behind the counter coughing everywhere
Stopped on way home from work as I couldn't face the supermarket and had nothing in. Really friendly service and by far the best cod & chips I've had for a long long time.

Gem of a place, and very easy to drive to with ample street parking right outside. Amazingly wide menu for a takeaway, and THE best chips in all of Berkshire, hands down. Lovely people and fantastic food.
Live in Ascot and this is one of the best takeaways in the area. Have tried their house special rice, chicken nuggets, fish & chips, curry and are highly recommended.
There are several dishes that they really do exceptional well here. Firstly, the sweet and sour chicken balls are huge, tasty and plentiful. I was astounded with the size and quality. The Happy chef in The priory Burnham is above average, but when you compare the two on several popular dishes the Jade Garden wins hands down. Also the price is way less compared to the Happy Chef on a direct comparison and also the portion size and quality is better. However that said, there are also many dishes that are not that great but still ok to average. Its the main popular dishes that they have nailed. Curry sauce and BBQ sauce were not great. The Happy Chef does way better (also the Happy Chef does better Currys too) Dont have the seaweed, its not great. However the reason im giving this 4 stars overall is because the main dishes we order are bang on every time. The shop gets V busy so get in early. Lovely friendly staff. Overall its above average!!
I had a 35-minute wait for my Chinese takeaway. I realised, while waiting, that most of the customers had preordered, so I sort of understand the wait, but if I had been forwarned when ordering, I would probably have gone elsewhere.
The food was great, however.
