I have steak pie with mash and veg it was great followed by syrup sponge and custard.... matched the main course good honest food well cooked and served.. my wife had the lasagne and again very happy... wr certainly needed the walk back to the van if in area again we will be back

Brilliant food and service , staff go above and beyond to help with any problems even though there was no problems , would defo go back if you are visiting the area well worth a visit for sure
Great place we always visit. A must go place when near Allonby. Excellent food and great Ales. Staff are friendly, helpful and Jack's Surf Bar has games and is, of course right on the shore.
Great service and a lovely family atmosphere. Was so pleased with the vegan menus they had and how on the ball they were with making sure everything was vegan, they even had dairy free ice cream and my toddler was so chuffed to be able to have ice cream like her big cousins. Thank you ☺️
Fabulous place to get some homecooked food. Make sure you are hungry when you go as the portions are very generous ????
Bit of a mixed bag I'm afraid. Says on the description, that it's "dog friendly " that's as long as you don't mind getting soaked through, sitting outside the pub. That's about as far as the dog friendly extends. There could be an area laid out for dog owners to sit inside and have food, as long as they're under control. We saw shed loads of dog walkers, missing a trick there.
The layout needs a lot to be desired... To get to the bar, you have to walk all the way round the pub, and through the restaurant to arrive pretty much where you started!!
It's not all bad, the bar area is cozy, and the food was lovely. Just needs some tweaking. ????????
