I ordered couple of times the battered Beef sausages, very tasty and fresh, you don't get the taste of the old oily food like some other shops, everytime I ordered the sausages were so hot just got cooked fresh.
Polite and descent customer service people at the till.
Highly recommended for battered sausages since it's the only thing I tried so far.
Only fish & chip shop we use and we travel from langley Always cooked fresh to order so not fast but always tasty. Big portion

This isn't a bad chip shop but prices have risen quite a bit and portion sizes, especially chips have dramatically reduced.
The shop is in desperate need of an overhaul, its looking very tired, scruffy and uninviting, especially with all the handwritten notes and tatty menu boards.
The staff however are always extremely nice.
Tried for the first time, got 3 kids cod and chips and two large cod with chips and the portions were huge! The chips were golden, and not greasy and the fish was very good too, although the batter could have been crisper.
Will definitely visit again.

Wrong Order - Rude Service - 5 years as a Customer.
I am very disappointed with the way the gentleman that handles the cash treated me today. I order the same thing every time and normally deal with a lovely women behind the cash. This time was different. I ordered 2 Large Fish and one Small Chips for my family of 4. This is normally enough. I waited 20-25 minutes and noticed there was only one large fish. The guy behind the counter decided to argue you with me and make me out to be the fool as who would think they are getting two large cod and small chip's for £8.60. First of all, I never saw the price, second of all his hand covers the machine so I cannot see the total. I repeated my order three times at the start. Anyways the guy continues to argue you with me so I ask for a refund. Than comes over this other lady who is pretty much shooing me out of the shop. Never saw her before. I took my refund and left. This was handled terribly. Why not offer me as a customer a delay with food and ask me to pay the difference. I would have happily waited and paid for the missing fish. Instead he wanted to argue with me. Today is the last time I visit this place. I have been a regular for 5 years +. bi-weekly purchase. Very disappointed.
Just been here first time. Liked the idea it was cooked fresh to order. Only live 5 minutes down the road but not mega hot. Nice food other than that. One more thing service with a smile wouldn't of gone a miss ????♀️
