I had a great experience with my Family Law Solicitor Afzal Patel, during my time with Ison Harrison I had a couple of different solicitors representing me, this was due to staff going onto maternity leave then another left the company. My case took 2 and a half years at Court (due to covid and the other party involved) my final solicitor Mr Patel was extremely knowledgeable on the subject at hand, he was very quick to pick up on actions that had been missed or overlooked within the court proceedings and overall gave me the confidence I needed. The whole court process was extremely nerve racking for myself due to the situation but having a confident and knowledgeable solicitor helped me pursue and gain the outcome I had hoped for. Despite being a funded client, I still feel I received the same treatment as a paying client.
We dealt with the Garforth branch. The service was good although communication towards completion could have been better. However, Rebecca Hutchinson was excellent in the final few days and kept us fully informed.
Rachel Wigglesworth carried out the conveyance on a house we were purchasing. She was very professional but friendly and approachable with any queries we had. Rachel worked very fast and efficiently and kept us up to date at every stage of the process. We would highly recommend using Rachel for conveyance work when purchasing a house.

The WORST solicitors I’ve ever experienced. A simple transfer of equity took 5 times as long as it should have. Repeatedly asking multiple solicitors for the same simple things and constantly not receiving it. I must have spent hours of my time chasing them. Even a year later there was an outstanding balance on my account and I have had to chase it 5 times!!! It’s taken them 4 months, 4 months, to transfer £40. I’m actually still waiting for it returned as I write this. My advice, stay away from Ison Harrison Garforth.
