Best KPortal Reviews

My friend suggested that we eat here , where she had celebrated her birthday and her mother's birthday and had been impressed . So was I .
Came here for our anniversary and the food and service was excellent. There are some unique dishes on the menu; the Isaan Curry was amazing! We also had the mixed starters which tasted wonderful and the portion sizes are generous. Staff very friendly and attentive (but not overbearing). Very highly recommended and this is now our favourite Thai restaurant.
We dropped in for a Saturday lunch. Only us in there, as it had just opened. The guy who served us was LOVELY. Really welcoming and warm. The food was the best we have had outside of Thailand. The mixed starters, especially the pork toast, was something else. We absolutely loved the Pad Thai and Panang Curry. I wish I had taken photos - the food was fresh, tasty and served with a smile. This is a gem. It was £46 and we had a coke and bottle of beer too. We spend that on a take away! Can’t recommend this place enough. Authentic taste at a great price.
Just had a fantastic meal here and really reasonably priced. Service was great and while I am a spicy food lover they were keen to point out they can spice most dishes up or down depending on taste. Wholeheartedly recommend.
Food
We ordered coconut rice and fried curry fish and prawn pad king . The coconut rice was a good quantity but it's not as good as other Thai restaurants in this area. The pad king was majority onions with just a few fragments of bell pepper, no more than 2 sliced mushrooms and importantly not more than a few strands of soggy ginger. The fried fish was a good size, well cooked and tasty.
Service
The waitress didn't speak much English. I asked: does the fish take longer to cook and she replied the fish is very fresh? As for drinks I asked for a water and got a bottle of water? Only shady restaurants do this, decent restaurants needn't upsell you on tap water. The bill included a mandatory service charge which I strongly dislike it's very rude and isn't stated on the menu.
Atmosphere
As we entered we were greeted by the noise of a young children playing on her tablet, eating pizza. It turns out this child is connected to one of those working there. She remained playing noisily in the background throughout which isn't what I expected for my Friday night dinner date.
Absolutely wonderful food and service, highly recommended. Staff make you feel so welcome and quality of food is exceptional.
First time went. There for lunch today
Could not fault the food the best outside of Bangkok and I have visited many in Kent Tom Yum Goong was full of flavour with king prawns, Tiger prawns on tempura batter to die for and our mains I had deep fried whole sea bass {Pla Prik Gang) just like served in Thailand the service was wonderful and very attentive this will be my regular Thai restaurant now with the visit and would throughly recommend especially if you like Thai traditional food
Not many customers at all in a Sunday afternoon. Staff were very enthusiastic and friendly. We loved all the food we had order. It would be perfect if Thai special drinks are available on the menu.
