get a bloody separate queue for new parents with babies. it wasn't nice seeing a new mother struggling so much standing in the queue. I did contact your staff, they both looked from a distance and said she looks fine. Yes, blind-dumbo, she is fine, fine for the child.
The view on the window was great and the meatballs, jam, chips, and mash potatoes was lovely. But there was some weird drinks and not much options and every time I come the is at least one drink machine broken.
It's IKEA food, you should know what you're getting into.
Massive portions of somewhat bland food at a reasonable price, tasty desserts, and lots of drink options with free refills.
Limited food options but you get lots of variations in terms of side and toppings:
You want your meatballs with mash and gravy? Chips and gravy? Spaghetti and red sauce? Rice?
The servers won't bat an eyelash no matter the combo you come up with.
Might be difficult to find a seat during peak hours, but there are endless seats.
Big que for food.
Felt really cold in the dinning room as the air conditioning was on. Not really needed for December as it's only 9c outside.
My sons fish in bread crumbs was very dry.
My mash potatoes were lumpy and also dry. Tasted like instant mash horrible.
The restaurant at Ikea Bristol is enormous, when all sections are open. The hot main course menu choice is a little limited, although they always have at least one and sometimes two vegetarian options. Arriving at 12.30 we, perhaps understandably, had to wait a while to be served. The food was fairly wholesome and inexpensive, although it could have done with being hotter. Otherwise all good.
The breakfast was not the best but it was cheap, the sausages and bacon could have been cooked a bit longer as it was still a bit pink
Went on a Sunday & had the classic meatballs, lovely. Eating area was pretty clean.
Staff were lovely. I was amazed at the number of rude & entitled customers in there, staff must be used to it as they kept their cool.
I recommend pushing to the front of the queue to find out if they have got what food you want, otherwise you can end up queuing for ages and wasting your time. It'll save having a car full of crying grandchildren all the way home. Alternatively they could spend 30 seconds putting I sign up advising the stock issues. But apparently that is too much to expect. As you may be able to tell, I'm a bit annoyed by this!
