Good food and drink available at this cafe inside the now deconsecrated church in Ludlow. Wonderful setting, and so good to see the building open for the people of Ludlow to use. There is also a shop in the church. It is an interesting building - a bit like a tardis - larger than you thought once you are inside!!
If you are in Ludlow and fancy a moment of calm from the bustling markets I can very much recommend Icon Coffee.
Situated in St Laurence's Church, this little cafe only recently opened but I think it will quickly become a favourite.
Coffee and cake were excellent and the location allowed for a chance to truly pause and take in the magnificent architecture of the church.
Such a beautiful space to enjoy an excellent coffee (locally roasted by the superb Hundred House) and fresh pastry/cake. It's so refreshing to see a church create a community space like this where people can come in and appreciate the church in a relaxed setting. Bravo to those who made this happen. ????

We called in to St Laurence Church yesterday having not visited this fabulous place of worship for some years. After admiring the church we had a coffee and scone at the attractive coffee shop at the back of the church. The delightful, helpful staff served the finest cup of Americano coffee possible. The flavour was exquisite. It was piping hot, in attractive modern cups with warm milk served alongside. The scone was excellent too. The impeccable service and intelligent conversation of the staff provided the final touch. Outstanding!

Beautiful cafe inside Ludlow Saint Laurence church. Food and coffee are delicious and atmosphere is magical. Helped by the sound of a community piano.
We really enjoyed our tea and cakes ! Yummy homemade cakes, great big teapot, and my daughter had a lovely hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows! We really enjoyed the beautiful church too, thank you for the lovely staff in the cafe, your doing a great job ! Highly recommend, it was a lovely find
