Beautiful monument, celebrating and remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. The Royal Artillery hold a fantastic remembrance parade here every year. This years did not disappoint. Grounds are kept well and the park corner is very well looked after and always has a crowd. Highly recommend a trip to see the amazing monuments.
Love this corner not because of freedom of speech but for many reason. Nice place for a walk, sit around and observing people of different cultures from all over the world. A lil walk for Buckingham Palace, Italian fountain, Kensington Palace and world famous Oxford Street for shopping.
Always cycle through the arch when I work in Hammersmith. Signature place. Love it.
Hyde Park is one of biggest part in London and it’s really beautiful in December because of winter wonderland
The grass is looking very dehydrated at the moment. The park is cornered off as there always seems to be some events which take up a large portion of the park. Plenty more to enjoy. A nice family atmosphere. Deck chairs are EXPENSIVE, bring your own picnic rug / seat if you intend to be here for long. Cute ducklings, baby geese and signets.
Stopped here for an hour to watch London's Pride march. Wasn't aware it was on but enjoyed watching the people taking part. Total chaos in London with all the road closures in place , the march, plus the BST concerts in Hyde Park. Great day out.
The London to Brighton Vintage Car Rally 2023 took place on Sunday the 5th of November.
The cars, bikes and bicycles all departed from the bottom of Hade Park, leaving via a gate next to Apsley House and then crossing over the roundabout at Hyde Park Corner through the triumphal arch and watched over by Nike, Winged Victory.
The video is a short clip of some of the century old cars passing through the arch as they made their way to Brighton.
Hopefully arriving before 4pm after a 7am start.
Lovely area for walking and viewing Buckingham Palace
