Thank you to the an and e team and ward 3 staff and radiographers for amazing compassionate care recently. I have never experienced such brilliant care so consistently across a hospital. The an and e team are so unbelievably stretched but went above and beyond to look after me well - from the reception team through to the doctor who sorted follow up tests for me. Thank you to doctor Z, Josie and Winnie in particular. I am so grateful.
What a wonderful new Accident and Emergency hospital. I had the privilege of having some Hand Xrays before the official opening. Although empty a few staff on hand very helpful and friendly the building is spotless as you would expect its not open yet the car park has ample parking for disabled and able bodied visitors. A few workers just finishing off plugs and light switches. The X Ray room has a lovely fake glass ceiling with blue sky and clouds to add to the relaxing caring environment of the room.
Amazing team ,on the male side of ward 20.Looked after my dad amazingly. A big thank you ,to Lauren who is a fantastic nurse. Thanks again the Roberts family .
I went in to hri accident and emergency with suspected gallbladder. I was seen by triage in about 40mins. They let me know that they'd be sending me to emergency surgery area after some blood's in a&e after blood's. someone came with a wheelchair to take me there I said I was quite happy to walk as standing was alot more comfortable. Got to emergency surgery. Was there a number of hours. Stats were taken every few hours. They provided me with pain relief. I can honestly say from start to finish the staff were amazing. Massive changes in staff attitudes from the past 4 or 5 year's. Even when I went back the following Monday and after that week later to different wards the staff were so lovely in each department. Well done to the nurses and other staff I met a long the way. Keep it up. At the time there were doctors strikes but everyone did amazingly
The current state of NHS service is concerning. My wife experienced severe ear pain, and despite futile attempts to secure a GP appointment and the pharmacist refusing medication, we resorted to visiting A&E. Both the receptionist and the doctor began the inquiry by chastising us for not consulting the GP or pharmacist first. However, upon inspection, it was revealed that there was inflammation in her eardrum, and antibiotics were prescribed. In this instance, no pharmacist would have dispensed antibiotics without a prescription, and my wife would have endured excruciating pain while waiting for a GP appointment. It's essential for NHS services to acknowledge their shortcomings, as people do not visit A&E and endure lengthy waits for amusement.
Just parked my car for a 30 min appointment and the ANPR tried to charge me £8. After going back to the desk I was told it wasn't working, the people at the next machine had just paid £8 for their stay, the 2 men on the desk assured me I wouldn't incur a charge later but still didn't put OUT OF ORDER sign on machine, I think it's disgusting that a simple sign would have stopped people using it. It's not been active long and already it's broken.
Had to go today owing to continuous headaches. Triaged within 15 minutes, consultation within 40 minutes, CT scan within ten minutes results and prescription within ten minutes. At all stages professional, friendly and thorough, special thanks to Steven.
Although other visits have been outstanding, I went on a Saturday because of a huge tooth infection, a visible swollen ball on the root. After two hours waiting, the doctor said he couldn't prescribe any antibiotic or treatment because he didn't know about teeth infection. He not even had a look.
