เป็นร้านแผงลอยเปิดขายตอนเย็นๆค่ำๆ ขายเฉพาะหอยลวก มีทั้งหอยแครงและหอยแมลงภู่ หอยสดอร่อยมาก ไม่มีกลิ่นและไม่คาวเลย จากแต่ก่อนไม่ทานหอยลวกเพราะคาวและไม่ชอบกลิ่น แต่มาลองทานที่ร้านนี้ ติดใจครับ โดยเฉพาะน้ำจิ้ม ขอบอกว่าเด็ดมาก มีน้ำจิ้ม2แบบ แบบเผ็ด และแบบหวาน คนทานเผ็ดก็ลุยโลดน้ำจิ้มเผ็ด ถ้าไม่ทานเผ็ดก็ต้องน้ำจิ้มหวาน ส่วนผมผสมกันเลยครับ แซ่บหลาย…ขอบอก

This place is like a hidden treasure honestly (soo hard to find). The blood cockle is boiled to perfection like the texture is so CRISPY when you chew it and the spicy and limey seafood sauce just tops it off. I ordered SOO many plates of the cockle and I do not regret it! We also ordered alot of oysters which tasted very fresh right outta the sea! It came with crispy garlic bits on the side, chilli paste and some green garnish too.
A downside to this small cockle bar is that it literally only has 2 tables... which means only 4 people can sit down and eat at the time so the queue can be quite long. Also for the price, if you order a lot of dishes it does add up but its worth it when you are in Thailand at Yaowarat!

New location is better but near by the previous one.
Recommend to try if you don't have any allergy issue with shellfish. Blood cockles was one of my childhood favorite food, happy to know it is still available in Bangkok. Hoy Kraeng Pa Jeen was regarded as one of the best places to have blood cockles. It is at small street food stall, with maximum 20 seated customers at anytime. When we came around 640pm, the stall was practically full house! Each plate cost only THB100, many locals ordering more than 1 plates. We ordered only the blood cockles, size of the cockles were average, all of them were opened when it is served. It was fresh and tasty, my only wish is hoping the volume could have been more. Although this is street food, the hygiene and cleanliness was spot on, we didn't have any uncomfort the next day.
Cockles is quite expensive as THB100 a portion which costs THB10 per cockle.. place is very small hence dine in is very challenging.. have to take away and eat somewhere else..
Taste of cockle is mediocre but chilli is okay..
Will only try once..
