Disappointed today. In the past,they were open on Saturday morning and I used the time shown in Google to go there today, only to find they put new hours, shut at the weekend AND lunchtime 1:30-2:00 pm Mon-Fri.
I don't know why they shut on Saturday completely. They are the only pharmacy around for at least 2-3 miles for many people! No warning. I had ran out of prescription medicine I was waiting for, which means over the Easter weekend I had none. I'm quite upset about this.
Otherwise they are a decent pharmacy and try their best to be helpful but I've knocked off 1 star for closing on Saturday ????
They are not open that late on Monday to Friday so they will lose customers who work all day and need the Saturday opening to get their medicines. Not everyone has a car to go to chemists in town or Boots on Southchurch Road.
Always very friendly and helpful whenever I go in and sometimes go above and beyond so I can only recommend this pharmacy.
I have recently moved into this area and can thoroughly recommend this pharmacy. They are very efficient and always polite and helpful.
Never been there before, would never go back again.. I simply asked for my prescription to be downloaded from the NHS spine with a barcode ,fairly standard process in pharmacy.. it was like I was speaking a foreign language. I decided to go elsewhere and got my prescription with ease.. it’s only 1 item but at a cost price of .30p it would have been good margin.
I always find them really helpful, no matter who I deal with. Friendly and supportive.
Edit: I’m going to add that the pharmacist goes what’s seems to me, above and beyond in helping me get the medication that works for me.
Not helpful at all and his attitude not pleasant. I was asking for help and just got shut down. It was a very cold call. I have been asking the chemist in the high street and they have been much more helpful. I always get help from boots and super drug like what happened today. Very unprofessional when it comes to asking for help. I don't think i will use this horrible place again.
I feel bad for staff there but the chemist there are very weird. As long as they know you don't collect medication from them they don't help you.

They are fantastic local and caring. Pharmacists know their stuff and take time to listen and really care about me and my husband. Go the extra mile to get your medication even at extra cost to themselves especially in lock down. Thank you so much.
