Bit hit and miss in here..the chicken is cooked fresh but the problem is it is always pot luck how long it has been sitting in the tray behind..same goes for the chips, hot or warm or a mix of both freshly cooked with what's been sitting under a lamp.
I bought a 3 piece meal ..chicken drier than a nuns gusset and the chips were lukewarm at best with most thrown for the local foxes!
Make sure you ask for just cooked chicken and fresh fries..
Times are tough for businesses I get that what with increases in costs but most of that is passed onto the customers
£7.50 for 3 bits of ultra dry chicken and warm fries..
Warm Dry Box Chicken
I purchased chicken burgers and chicken wings which were delicious and freshly cooked.
I was looking for the Halal certificate which I found displayed on the main counter as I can only eat Halal foods.
They gave me ketchup, mayonnaise and vinegar sachets and salt packs.
*HALAL CERTIFICATE NOT AVAILABLE*
Spoke to the the guy on the counter and asked him, if their food was Halal, he said yes and I asked for a certificate, which they don’t have, but he told me they have a halal sticker on the door ????
Be careful when buying from this shop, they do not comply with lawful poultry or meat suitable for the consumption for Muslims.
This is NOT HALAL until the management of the shop explain themselves.
Meal was so bad,
Even for chips 0 mark.
Switch on ventilation inside, was so smelly, couldn't stay more than 2 minutes.
Wouldn't usually write a bad review unless below average, however this made me and my husband feel sick. Chicken was not fresh was rubbery and seemed like it had been reheater, the tortilla wrap had burnt lines coming down, chips were mediocre. No salt given in the takeaway bag, thankfully we had some sachets in the car. Let down for a 15mins wait. The cans were nice and cold, and the hash brown in the burger was tasty.
I am usually picky with Chicken shops, but this is my go to spot all the time. Their Chicken is always fresh, hot, crispy, and seasoned right, and the chips are not soggy or oily, and the burgers are nice I especially like the cheeseburger. I haven't had any bad experience so far so hopefully they continue to keep up the good sevice and quality of food.
Wow! Haven’t gone more than a week without this chicken in over a year! It slaps hard. Also the team are the best, they’re my besties now
Avoid! Im not one to go to fast food chicken shops but was desperate and thought I'd try. Waited over ten minutes for greasy, rubbery chicken with the coating falling off. Really tried to eat but almost threw up. Chips were kind of ok.
All ended up in the bin. Lesson learned.
