I Was lucky enough to find hopfield autos recently and had quite a few things done there new brakes, new clutch and a service and was very happy with the service I received the guys matt and ken on reception were great and friendly and helpful and done me a good reasonable price will definitely be going back next year especially as i can get a free mot with a full service FIVE STARS

After BMW and Stephen James tried to seek early retirement funds from me, I went about finding a good garage to replace my condensor at a moderate price and I was quite worried about choosing the right place. After seeing that some police vehicles as well as expensive cars were repaired at this garage, it made me assured and confident that they would do a good job.
I can confirm that they did not disappoint and I will definitely be taking my car/s there from here on. I definitely recommend this garage to anyone A+++++++
Overpriced and didn't do the job.
We have been using this garage for over 6 years and it has always been on the pricey side but we always trusted that we got a good job done. And quite frankly when we first went there 6 odd years ago we had failed MOT for a problem with the car's suspension. There would be many garages that could have charged us £500+ for a whole suspension system, when only a small part that cost £80(including labor) did the job. So of course this is a place that had earned our trust and our blind loyalty.
A few months ago we bought a used car and we decided to take it to the garage we always trusted for a general look over and to check a noise we heard when the engine was cold. They barely had a look at it and didn't look into the noise problem as they were too busy with other cars, as they are often overbooked; and I was charged over £60 just to have my oils checked (not changed- just checked) even though the initial quote was £40.
I called them again for an air-conditioning problem they hadn't spot in their "check" and was given a quote of £130 for a flush...
Took my car to another garage, they looked at the engine noise at no extra charge and charged me £50 for the same air conditioning job...
Loyalty does not pay off and I would suggest checking other garages first.
We had the good fortune to find Hopfields when searching for an Allstar repairer for a warranty repair on a recently bought 2nd hand VW Up after the radiator blew. We were booked in next day and had really good communications from Matt and the rest of the team throughput the repair. They are very professional, friendly and from the reception area you can look into a very clean, organised and well equipped garage. It’s ‘Main dealer’ experience without the silly prices! Would highly recommend to get a difficult job done right first time.
I don't know anything about cars so, when I had to get my first car repaired, I was quite worried about choosing the right place. Seeing that some police vehicle were repaired at this garage made me think it is a good one. I was not disappointed,I trust them 100% and would recommend it to anyone.
Have been using their services for years, very helpful good value for money and recommend to all my friends and family.
Visited the new premises and still very happy with the service.
Great MOT SERVICE. They changed my bulb added oil repositioned the lights and didn't charge extra for all of it! Highly recommended
