We won’t go anywhere but hongs for a chippy or Chinese food now! Great food and nice staff! The only criticism I have is the plum sauce with the crispy duck is way too runny! PLEASE make it thicker and it will be perfect! Genuinely the best Chinese food in Cullompton. Thank you all for your hard work and fantastic service????

This is a great takeaway, serving both Chinese food and traditional fish & chips etc from the fryer. The quality of all the food is good with plenty of tasty ingredients in the Chinese meals. Pricing is reasonable and the portions are generous, excellent friendly service from the owners & staff. Car parking is somewhat limited, but seems ok at night to park immediately on street in front of the takeaway, whilst meals are being prepared or collected. Recommended to try out from their comprehensive menu.
Excellent Chinese food from a takeaway that also sells some good-looking fish and chips. First time for me at this place but already planning to revisit laterthismonth. Highly recommended
Hongs has by far the best fish and chips I have eaten in the UK so far. The batter is full of flavour and so are the chips. The chips however are on the soggy/soft side. Service is fast and good, and we got to eat inside even though it's a take away.
We came back for the Chinese food, which is also really tasty. A small point of criticism is the lack of vegetarian options, which seem like they could easily be added.
Overall great experience, would definitely recommend!
Usually go here all the time but recently the Chinese has been rubbish. The curry sauce was way too spiced and inedible. The chow mein tatsted of paper. I thought last time was a one off but it seems not. Will be going to Tiverton next time
The best fish n chips I've ever had! Their Chinese takeaway was nice too. However, I recommend the fish n chips. The owner is really nice and friendly as well. Affordable prices.
