This man did an MOT because my usual garage could fit me in. When I dropped my car off he could only use one hand & the other one partially. After I went to pick up my car, it came back as a fail. Fair cop. Then he said he could sort it for me. I agreed. When I picked it when ever I would over any bump it would make a grating sound.so I took it back. He said I have had to tighten the suspension up to tight I said does that damage my car? He said no it will wear off. I've waited a whole year, but it only stopped when I took my car to a completely different mechanic who said the suspension arm is broke. So I have just had to fork out £347. Never use this garage for anything. I was do concerned because I had been travelling with my wife and child in my car. It's totally unacceptable!
Absolute waste of time. I had an appointment for 12:00, and I had to be back no later than 2 as I had meetings. When I arrived I was told they were running late and it wouldn't be done till 12:30. I said fine as long as its completed no later than 1:20 as I had to be back in time. 12:30 comes nothing, car hasn't moved. 12:40 I walk back in the office to find the mechanic and receptionist both just stood there looking at their phones, clearly couldn't care any less that they had already made me late by 40 mins. So I just left. what is the point in timed slots if the staff make Zero effort to stick to them and then no apology for making you late. Wont be returning here again.
Very good service. Was able to book MOT within couple days notice. Failed on two of minor faults, which I expected, mended and passed. All completed in a couple of hours, and at a reasonable price. Would recommend Holywell Garage.
Did MOT on one of my cars, failed on headlight aim so they adjusted them but I can’t see where the adjustment was done. Had the car 6 years and has never had headlight problems before.
Poor service. Booked in Tuesday and called twice to see how it was progressing but only when I called just before closing did reception say it would be done tomorrow. Lost 1 day of work and my car for nothing
Terrible experience they had my car for 3 days for an oil leak, didn’t look at it or do anything until the 3rd day, then they told me they would screw a couple bolts and clean the oil from under the car. They charged me £80 for this and my car is still leaking oil.
Will never go back to the terrible business.
Can't fault this family business. Can always fit me in very obliging and honest about work needing to be done. Would recomend. White suzuki and black corsa!!xx
They managed to fit my vehicle in at short notice for an MOT, were extremely helpful letting me drop off and collect the vehicle around my schedule. Super friendly and helpful family run garage, will definitely be using again.
