Great place to camp. Close to the River Severn. Superb clubhouse with an extensive choice of beers and soft drinks. The staff and the residents are really friendly and welcoming. You can't go wrong here whether it's a stopover or a few days holiday ????
Me and other family members used to have caravans on the site and it was lovely, went back for the weekend just gone and it looks quite run down around the site. Some lovely people but others not so nice. Bunch of kids tried to beat up my son outside the club and nobody said anything and others were running around very noisy until early hours of the morning. I can see why it is alot quieter than I remember. Such a shame for what was a very nice site.
Don't bother with taking kids .... They get screamed at for playing in the club house even when theres only a few locals in.
I took my family down during the week for a steak night, the club house had around 7 people in that were locals, my children were literally screamed at for playing on the 'dance' floor. There was no entertainment on so this wasn't the issue. I just don't think they like children! I definitely won't be returning.
I have few friends on this site was intending to buy a van on there but place really gone down hill over last 3/4 years such a shame was a lovely place to rest over the weekend. Will be looking elsewhere
All the bar staff and caravanners are cheerful, friendly and in party mode. Nice atmosphere and burgers and chips are available. Entertainment was great.

Had a caravan there before about 4 years ago. Omg visited today as I was thinking about buying another one but the place is in absolute ruins. Really nothing like it used to be. Theres massive dust track road up to the top site when theres a much better entrance just needs the gate opened ? Seriously a massive decline and everywhere looked really untidy. Definitely give this site a swerve.
The place is a mess and needs respect for all of us. Please its a waste of money and we will never go there again. DISAPPOINTED IS A UNDERSTATEMENT
