Heard a lot bout this little gem food (7 floor Malaysia tea room) I came here on noon which is quiet and I've ordered Kerapok and prawn brooch soup, they served a good size portion and the food meet my expectations however I personally think the soup base is lack of original Malaysia authentic flavor, but I'll still come here even bring my friend next time. The drink from the side stalls run by the lady is also brilliant.
I ordered from two separate vendors. Had the mixed swarma box with rice plus chicken noddles and deep fried fish sticks. The swarma box was pretty good but not outstanding. The chicken noddles were also good but would have preferred if the stock had more substance to it. As for the feed fried fish sticks - skip it :weird texture and I thought there was a lot more floor content than fish.
This is a 3 in 1 eatery. There are 2 Malaysian places there. One us for savory meals & the other, Pandan, is for desserts. I bought 2 of the keuh wrapped in coconut leaf. It has shredded coconuts with palm sugar wrapped in slightly savory rice flour. Very good. Unfortunately, they already ran out of the other pandan stuff & I got there at 4 pm. They open at noon.
We ordered laksa soup and prawn soup. Nothing wow about the food, but I would say it is pretty good. If you are from Southeast Asia, perhaps your opinion would be different.
It's the best shawarma box I tried in all Europe (maybe there is someone better, but so far... 100% recommended) all the flavours, and the textures.
Excellent price and abundant food, especially considering that it is in the center of London.

Simply authentic, yummy Malaysian cuisine! Assam Laksa, Beef Rendang and Cheechong fun were a wonderful mixture of flavor profile and cooking method. Topping it all, lovely couple doing all this!
29/10/2023 - Saturday. Officially opening of 7th Floor Malaysia Tea Room in Holborn food Hub. Lovely atmosphere, warm & cosy. Authentic Malaysian food with delicious Beef Rendang. If anyone fancy a cup of bubble tea. Is just situated next stall. Friendly, family business. Very chill & relax Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had lunch around 1pm, it was quiet and had a good ambiance. The Assam Laksa was great! It's very close to what you'd get if you were to eat this in Penang! Highly recommend visiting 7 Floor Malaysia Tea Room and trying their Assam Laksa
