Ordered through Just Eat. Half our order was missing so we phoned up and a young guy said our order was sent out in two bags and that it was an issue with Just Eat not delivering the whole of our order. He said it was sent out with another order so the driver must have delivered some of our food to the wrong customer. We said we had received two bags but hadn’t received all our items to which he responded that perhaps it went out in 3 bags (??). He explained he couldn’t just give us the missing items as he can’t give out free food. We had been waiting well over an hour for our food and was starving by this point. It was also a birthday meal. As Hings Kitchen would not arrange for the missing meals to be delivered, we tried to claim a partial refund through Just Eat for the missing items which was rejected because we could not prove it.
Disgusting - go elsewhere!
Needed a quick chow mein dinner for a Friday night. Waited quite a while for two portions with pork balls. Had a few mouthfuls and decided against eating the rest. Somehow the noodles tasted old and the pork balls were in fact minced pork. It all tasted horrible, money wasted and still hungry.
Tasty takeaway. Not over salted, traditional Cantonese takeaway
Just had a takeaway having been fed up of trying the other local ones that have been very poor as of late. Not been here for a few years but thought what the hell let’s give it a go - must say it was fantastic!!! Not oily, not oversalted, best takeaway we have had locally for a very long time
I first used this takeaway in the late 1990s and, at that time, I commented that it was the best Chinese takeaway I’d ever used….crispy chicken balls, great quality meat in their curries. Sadly this has changed; soft batter on chicken balls, and the beef used in the curry was a disgrace! Almost entirely of a chewy consistency and virtually all gristle. Not a pleasant experience.
Ordered Thai green curry tonight and Singapore noodles. Never have I had a worse meal in my entirety. If you like searching for any kind of meat in any of the above dishes then you are a better person than me. Thai sauce was non existent an of you like big shavings of carrot and BROCKLEY in your meal then this is the place. STAY AWAY.
Order tonight was told it would be 30 mins. Took an hour before our order was ready. We ordered a young chow fried rice. This a was terrible, the rice was boiled for starters and very little else in it at all. 1/2 aromatic duck, the duck was cold and the hoisin sauce was oily and sickly. Egg fried rice, very minimal egg was just like plain rice. I am nice left with a horrible greasy taste in my mouth and have rembered why we have left it over a year since going there last time. Stay well clear if you like nice food.
Had a hot and sour soup and special chow mein ???? The soup was not good and i asked for the chow mein to be spicy. No spice and i could have made this at home as it has no flavour of a good chow mein from a takeaway!!!
Would not recommend and i am not happy ????
