Brilliant lovely chip shop, this is the best chip shop I've been to that's still open! Locals flowing in and out all day got quite busy around 5pm but perfect food fairly cheap exactly how it should be! Would recommend! Only let down is they don't do battered mars bars but they make it up by selling red pudding instead!
Food has always been great.. it's all cooked to order so maybe have a little 5min wait but well worth it for the freshness and it being piping hot..
If ordering a large amount probably best to order ahead by phone..

Prices are reasonable and always has a few local people getting food, which tells you it's a good chippy. Will be back soon!
Disgusting food at even more disgusting of a price! Best part of £8 for a heavily overfried, very greasy sausage in batter and a tiny polysterene tray of chips. This has to be one of the worst places we have had misfortune of eating from during our Scottish Trip, i cannot advise to avoid strongly enough - you will be disappointed!
Good quality food, but portion sizes very very small (the large fish supper is tiny, comes in a small portion size tray that isn't even full) also instead of a good size bit of fish they give you two tiny bits.

Chips were “dry”, sausage, fish and steak pie were nice
Fish & chips were excellent & price was comparable with other outlets. Friendly & helpful staff. Would definitely buy from here again & would highly recommend it.
Good sized portion without going over the top ! And surprisingly for a Haggis Supper that I had, it was not overly greasy at all. Top marks :-)
I'm from New Zealand and was stunned how good the fish and chips were. I was too full to go back for seconds but wish I did. Best fish and chips I have ever had.
