We went for lunch. It has a great view and setting. The menu sounded great and like it would be proper fresh food. I had the nachos with 'Welsh beef' but it tasted like it was out of a tin and there wasn't much beef mostly gravy. It was topped with that orange squirty highly processed cheese on top. To be fair I was hungry and ate it and it didn't taste too bad but it was disappointing.I can't remember what my mother had but she wasn't impressed.
The restaurant is in a beautiful location, with a view over the bay. The food and the service were absolutely wonderful. However, the prices, on the more expensive side. Fish and chips £16.95.
We stopped in for a hearty dinner after a full day of exploring and we were not disappointed. The cod and chips with peas and a slice of lemon was both huge and heavenly. Couple the great food with amazing views and it was a brilliant evening out, well worth the drive!!!
just ate a cake and drank a beer but the view was so good. service also nice. good to try
Beautiful view, plenty of outdoor seating. Good service. The food is OK. Fish and chips are one of the better options. They don't take bookings, only walk-ins, but we have never had to wait long for a table.
Lovely bar right on the clifftop at Rhossili.
We went for the sunset and realised on arrival that we were too late for food, (last orders was 20:30) but there were cakes, coffee, beer and wine which was plenty for us.
Yep the location is great, really great, but what makes this a great place for a drink is that the staff are really friendly, even when busy.
Was chatting to a lady who had been staying at the Worms Head Hotel, which the Helvetia Bar is a part of, and she couldn't have been more complementary either!
We loved it!
Unbelievable view, great service but a bit disappointed with the food. Price is steep and didn’t meet expectations but absolutely would recommend this place after a cold dip or a windy walk.
Great views overlooking the bay. For views it was one of the best beer gardens I've been in. Food was good and beer reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit.
