I went there yesterday with my Scottish money, guy on the counter started complaining so I asked him I could pay with card if he wants me to. Turns out he didn’t know I was Turkish and he swore at me in Turkish. Don’t swear at customer if you don’t know what money is. I have cash and card. Don’t mumble under your breath like you’re the king.
Very bad customer service I bought whole meal bread from the shop, I forgot to check the date and when I reached home only I noticed that the bread was expired a week ago. I took back the bread to the shop, they replaced me with new packet of the bread. When I went again to buy the bread there was expired bread in the rack. Beware buying breads from this shop always check expiry date.????????
Best food shop on Green Lanes for sure. It has so much stock you can always find what you want. Not overly expensive and has an excellent range of fresh veg. The staff are generally really friendly and it's open 24 hours, what more could you want?!
Almost anything you could possibly need at any hour of the day. Great range of alcohol, confectionary, Korean noodles, vegan products, cooking ingredients from a range of cuisines, high-end organic products, veg… I could go on
Terrible! just been threatened as I was a thief only cause I was taking long to check products. I'm a customer that shops here at least twice a week!I won't shop anymore. I was approached twice until one of the member of staff asked me if I was Italian and started with the whole stories of stereotypes and prejudice. Therefore I left my shopping and I gave him my business card so he can keep my name and references as I work in Woodberry Down Estates, the guy took it the wrong way because it's clearly stated in his eyes i am a thief, and as to show it's machism and arrogance put that in the bin. I live in grand parade from the last 10 years and never had any similar experience. You are rally subhumans.
Great selection of Italian products for a reasonable price and best quality fruit & veg, way better than Yasir Halim. Everybody should shop here!!
Favorite local green grocer, with great cheeses, meats, canned goods, chocolate, oils, dried pulses, and very good prices.
The food is always fresh, the staff are always friendly and helpful.
