Best KPortal Reviews

I attended a blood pressure review yesterday and felt I must comment on the most amazing, caring nurse I had the pleasure to meet. I was extremely impressed with the way my appointment was carried out. Anita made me feel very relaxed. She was also very professional and thorough.
Thank you so much for caring.
Miss Evan's.
Sam has really helped me with advice on health issues I was experiencing, also helped me with controlling my asthma & gave me advice on helping with weight loss. Sam seems to take pride in her work and made me feel at ease with talking to her, she's also consist at doing follow up calls
I’ve been a patient at Haymarket Medical Centre for over thirteen years and have always received a very high standard of patient care in my retirement. In recent times the ability to be able to describe a new health issue by text message works really well for me and the follow up telephone consultation has always been within an acceptable timescale and can only be described as caring, friendly, extremely professional and perhaps even more importantly, very reassuring. Like many organisations, an occasional hiccup will occur but my approach with the surgery is to be as pleasant as possible and be very clear what my symptoms and expectations are. In my opinion, Haymarket Medical Centre have admirably embraced and responded to the demands imposed on it. Their professionalism is exemplary. Well done and thank you.
I went into hospital for appendix surgery late Friday night. I was told by the staff nurse they required the bed on Saturday afternoon and that the gp would be able to tell me about the wound after care procedures and prescribe me oramorph as that's what I was been given at the hospital. My partner called 1st thing on Monday morning explained the situation to the receptionist who said the gp would not see me to check the wounds or go over how to care for them as its not their job!! That I could maybe see the practice nurse on Friday but the haywood would see me today. When we tried to push to get the pain meds sorted they said go to the haywood, the haywood do not do pain meds. I have a chronic pain condition. As expected haywood could not help with the pain relief. I rang the Dr's again asking to see anyone about getting the correct pain relief and she refused to put me through to a practice nurse, gp or manager. Despite on the website saying they have out of hours appointments at other surgeries. This is not the 1st time I have had issues when I woke up with complete deafness for no reason they offered me a telephone consultation it was then advised to them since I had woken deaf and no previous issues such as cold or head injury and completely deaf that would not be suitable but they booked it. I couldn't do it for obvious reasons and then I got to see the gp and I went to AnE where I was told that I needed urgent steroids or my hearing loss maybe permanent. My hearing has been completely lost on one side now. They said they would refer me for adhd diagnosis and instead sent me back to the harplands who had already told them they can not do that diagnosis it's not in their remit and sent them a 4 hour long assessment from them which said I needed to be put on the adhd pathway but again a catalogue of errors and I'm no closer to support. I am now in agony unable to get proper pain relief and no complaints procedure has been initiated. I do not drive I struggle with telephone consultations due to the hearing issues and I'm just being told it's tough. I booked an appointment for a frozen shoulder which they tried to convince me could be assesed over the phone, i explained that would not be possible as the dr would not be able to see the issue ofer the phone they booked an appointment, finally i thought i might at least get that issue resolved. When i got there I found out they had booked me in for a smear!!! How does that even happen. They want you to call at 8am which I explain its not possible due to work. I can not prebook they say. How on earth am I meant to get adequate care from this Dr's surgery.
It's just been a catalogue of errors with this Dr's surgery and myself as the patient is the one left suffering everytime. They also know that I am a carer as well so other family members rely on me to support them which I am unable to do in the current situation that I am in. I have never felt so let down by healthcare failure than I do at this moment in time.
Worst Surgery in SOT. You can not get through on the phone and when yo do get through all appointments are gone. Can't remember last time I got a face to face appointment been trying to sort out an health issue for 4 months now and all they do is keep sending me for blood test. I went for a blood test monday they phoned me the next day and asked me go for a blood test to check my statins, I told her I had been the day before and she said ok thought that was it. A few days later when trying to order my medication they blocked my statins another hour on the phone to be told I need another blood test so no got go a month with no tablets again. They are useless and incompetent.
Rachel was amazing with my 3 year old daughter today. She explained her 3 year jabs very well and made her feel comfortable. That is the best experience we've had. Thank you Rachel
Jess was absolutely amazing and couldn’t have made me feel more welcome and comfortable. She gave me so much information and we had lots of laughs and giggle would highly recommend her.
