A good old fashioned no nonsense cafe. with also an ice cream parlour. I had a burger , excellent and chips perfect. My wife's sandwich made to order was super. great place to refuel.
Had a lovely fry this morning with my father both were perfect great service filled our pot of tea for free nice we touch I thought very reasonably priced. 5⭐️ well deserved.

Lovely friendly family atmosphere! The food is second to none! Delicious frys all day and my fussy ASD eaters always get their meals tailored individually! One of the last few places I can actually afford to take my large family to be honest! Prices don't compromise the quality! Highly recommend!
*If I'm on my own I can enjoy a coffee and a delicious homemade bake in peace and it doesn't break the bank!

I have to say that Alan and his staff go over and beyond to accommodate ur food preferences here.. his Frys are absolutely ????. And so is the rest of his food . Best place to eat in or take away.lovely family run restaurant and also makes families very welcome.

I had the experience of tasting a piece of birthday cake which was baked and supplied by this cafe, the flavour was supposed to be coffee which I love, but there was no coffee flavour in the cake, the sponge which is meant to be light was stodgy and to be honest inedible. The decoration which was supposed to be an 80th birthday theme of a man who likes the little birds in the garden was pathetic and looked like something thing a child would create. Apparently it was made with dairy free products.
