Visited yesterday for the first time. I’ve decided to avoid supermarket meat and try more local sources and WOW. The quality is completely superior. I bought some chicken, bacon and sausages and really impressed with all of them as well as the service. Just one visit has made me decide that i’ll be coming here for all my meat and avoiding the supermarkets

Best Butchers around. Great meats both cooked and fresh. Absolutely brilliant pies and sausage rolls. Fresh oven ready meals in various sauces are absolutely great tasting and great value too! Good clean shop still using old covid measures. Staff very helpful and always cheerful!
This review is based on their thick tomato pork sausages only. Have yet to eat their pies (in freezer) or fillet steak.
The sausages I was sold were quite gritty with a rusky texture. I felt the proportion of meat was a bit low, but the tomato taste was great.
After visiting many more times, I can review other products.
Their bacon is incomparable... so tasty, in fact, the king of bacon. Likewise, their pork pies, steak pies, and chicken & mushroom pies ????
The shop also sells ready-made meals to cook at home. Chinese and curry dishes amongst many choices.
The shop is very clean and obviously very professionally run. Highly recommended... just wish the guys there smiled more... ???? Brusk northerners... lovely really though!
Great butcher and very helpful, you can order all sorts of cuts (for my German recilees) as long as you give them notice before they butcher.
Potted beef devine, pies lovely home made taste and sausage rolls, great meat and lovely ready made chicken in a sauce.
And get ready, Turkeys at Xmas are out of this world, a must Try!
Quite reasonably priced too considering you are at a butchers! I highly recommend!
