My first ever visit, after seeing a review on The Great Guide to food in the Area. And it doesn't disappoint. £5.95 for a fish butty, DOUBLE the size of most. How is Harry even making a profit I thought. A lovely, typical Huddersfield welcome, just up the road, from me, in Milnsbridge. Definitely worth a visit, if you use Manchester Road. I guarantee, you won't be disappointed. Why can't you leave review every visit? Thanks to Willow, a travelling addict, like myself, and Ian for looking after me, today, on my second visit ????
Poor atmosphere and abrupt staff! Food quality was very poor the chips were extremely crispy and unpleasant. The fish batter was soggy and the whole meal was extremely greasy. I didn’t enjoy it and unfortunately will not be returning.
Best fish & chips in the local area, chips are delicious can't get any better. Portion size is more than enough leaves me full and content, curry sauce is the best I've ever had.
Is expensive but the quality makes up for it. I won't go anywhere else for my fish and chips ????

Decent traditional chippy. Almost always great fish & chips. I stick to chips, my hubby has fish & chips.
Very disappointed with our visit tonight.Chips were hard as though they had been re cooked,the batter was soggy not crisp,but the fish was nice and fresh and flakey.will not be returning.
Went in for a bag of chips and the portion size was not enough to feed a bird and cost £2.50. Needless to say Harry's will be getting a wide birth from me from now on.
