Very nice fish and chips. Two fish bites, a portion of chips and a bottle of water for 3.95. Small bottles of water 95p.

We started using this chippy recently again and its absolutely fantastic.
The mini fish and chips was lovely and fresh with a crispy batter, chips was soft but firm and delicious . Mushy peas great ???? big thumbs up ????
This will definitely be our regular chippy from now on Thanks guys
I am giving a 5 star for their service because I phoned to ask if they were halal, and they were honest enough to say THEY ARE NOT HALAL.
This is a positive as many organisations will lie about this to make money but they were honest. So for anyone seeking halal, it is not, for everyone else, enjoy the whatever you eat.

Friendly, local, good food and great portions. Were happy to cook a large piece of fish for us even though they were due to close. Great service.
Cross contaminated food for a person with allergies, offered to replaced 1 item only out if 2 that had been affected and put it onto contaminated paper, then moved the contaminated food back into heated cabinet to serve to someone else. If they have a food safety certificate it needs to be cancelled.
Upon using Uber Eats, I encountered a disappointing situation. Upon delivery, certain items were missing from my order. After reaching out to inquire about the missing food, the response I received was that the omitted items would be provided with my next order. This was particularly frustrating since the missing items were meant for my child, who had to endure an extra 20-minute wait for replacement food. To add to my dissatisfaction, I was instructed to contact Uber Eats for a refund, despite the mistake originating from the restaurant's end.
As a long-term patron of this establishment for nearly a decade, I am reconsidering my loyalty unless there have been changes in management. Despite the restaurant's commendable food quality, the deficiency in accountability and customer service is inexcusable. This is especially concerning when it involves the well-being of my child.
Additionally, I encountered an error in my order where I received fish bites and nuggets costing £6.00 instead of the fish bites and chips that I had initially ordered. I kindly request that the management address this matter promptly. No wounder just found out its under new management well that says it all.
