Easy to order ahead. Ready when arrived. Unwrapped when home (5) mins the batter was all soggy and stuck to the paper, tried to revive in the airfryer but as not enough batter left on the fish was a waste of time. The fish was lovely so not all negative.
Terrible quality fish. In my opinion defrosted quickly as it was just mush.
Batter too thick so it hadn't cooked through, nor got crispy.
They must spend a fortune on cooking oil as most of it was in the takeaway box oozing from the fish.
Chips undercooked by a considerable amount.
Curry sauce looked like old radiator water.
The gluten free night was brilliant last time and it was just as good tonight. Honestly the curry sauce is fantastic, the best I've ever tasted. The batter is lovely, it's light and tasty and my non GF husband loves it too. Can't wait for another GF night ☺️
Looking for somewhere to stop along the A46 as a freak hail storm hit a few weeks back. Not the best chippy I've ever had. (Better chips by the coast) but isn't far out of the way to get some food.
Lovely chips and the fish was gorgeous however a lot smaller portions than other places in Evesham, £12.50 for a "large" cod and chips came with less chips others do in their small, not a huge fish either but as I say, tasted lovely so 3 stars from me.
I can honestly say this was the worst MINI fish and chip meal I've ever had and it cost £8.50! The chips were so hard and tough you couldn't stick a fork in them. They had obviously been warmed up from lunch time, the peas were cold and the fish wasn't nice either. I have heard such fantastic reviews so disappointed doesn't come close
Best fish & chips in town, lovely crisp batter, beautiful flavoured cod and good sized portions for those with a healthy appetite. There's usually a queue on Fridays/Saturdays as they're very popular so allow time but we'll worth the wait. I did almost knock a star off though as when I got home on Friday I only had 1 portion of chips instead of 2 but that's unusual and they were exceptionally busy so that would've been mean! Keep up the good work guys/girls, you've got it right
Very poor, the chips tasted like they were boiled in fat, really awful after taste and after the first bite of sausage that went in the bin as a piece of bone was found,. Not the best, wouldn't recommend
