Best KPortal Reviews

Absolutely fantastic independent cafe, the ideal spot for brunch, lunch or coffee and cake. Just off the main road but absolutely worth seeking out. Gorgeous setting, lovely staff and owners, brilliant brunch, good coffee and possibly the best bara brith I’ve ever had! Very reasonable prices too. A gem.
Gorgeous, gorgeous cafe that deserves to be better known by locals and visitors.
They have a lovely food menu for meat lovers, veggies and vegans alike, the bar brith is to die for and the coffee is from a local roastery. They also serve alcohol and have various themed food nights throughout the year.
More broadly, it's just a very nice place to enjoy an hour or two. A really warm welcome and everything was just great. We went three times in our brief visit to Crickhowell.
delicious food, lovely people - can’t wait to go back! We visited on Saturday afternoon as they were just stopping lunch but they super kindly rustled up some chickpea coronation rolls for veggies and fahijita chicken style for meat eaters. Was incredible food, lovely clean cafe and will be going back to try rest of the menu which looked lush!! Thank you for having us!
Halo Cafe in Crickhowell is a true delight, a culinary gem that I had the pleasure of visiting recently. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the lovely staff whose friendliness added a special touch to the cozy atmosphere. But the real star of the show was what came to my table: the pancakes with maple syrup.
It’s not only the food that makes Halo Cafe stand out; it’s the people that bring it to life. The staff were incredibly hospitable, making me feel welcome and attended to throughout my visit.
I left Halo Cafe with a full belly and a warm heart, already anticipating my next visit. For anyone in or around Crickhowell, do yourself a favour and drop by Halo Cafe. Whether it’s for their exceptional pancakes or the friendly faces, you won't be disappointed.
What a beautiful cafe! The cake is outstanding, particularly the vegan chocolate cake and I'm not a vegan. The service was incredible, great coffee.. not a given anywhere sadly. But a great coffee, lovely relaxed vibe and a quaint little courtyard for a spot of sun. Definitely a place to go!
This is a great place for lunch! Really friendly and attentive staff. Excellent, healthy food options. Really glad we found Halo.
Came for a small bite to eat, the staff were absolutely fabulous, very welcoming and made you feel at home.
The food was faultless, it was fresh, flavourful and presented beautifully.
Excellent flat white coffees and fruity bara brith. Nice outside space in courtyard area.
